~Regency Wednesday~ Elbow Grease

Hello, my lovelies!! I'm here today with another slang definition from my trusty 1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue. Enjoy!

Labour. Elbow grease will make an oak table shine.

Sufficient space to act in. Out at elbows; said of an estate that is mortgaged.
