National Novel Writing Month 2010

Are you ready for NaNoWriMo? I'm not. At all. I'm so distracted by all these other things that I haven't had a moment to think about it other than to sign up. Oh yes, I'm all signed up but I have no outline and no clear idea what I'm going to write.

Last year I wrote my first fantasy novel, The Dragon Curse. It was an odd thing for me to write but I really enjoyed it. By the time November '09 was over, I had over 55,000 words but the novel was far from finished. I completed it three months later with an ending count of 110,000+ words. A novel that long was a first for me too.

This year, I am considering writing the sequel to Dragon Curse. However, there is also a Regency or two that could stand to be written. I'm torn, again, by all my options. Heck, maybe I'll write that Gothic romance I started years ago. The first chapter needs rewritten anyway.

So, what are your plans? If you've already signed up, add me as a buddy.

As usual, happy reading, writing, and blogging!!
