My 1811 Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue defines a Locksmith's Daughter simply as a key.
I know there's more to it than this but that was all the inspiration I needed to pen a short story titled The Locksmith's Daughter. It's a contemporary romance, a first for me. Can't say I'll ever do it again, but it was fun to write at the time. (Contemporary just isn't my thing.) I plan to list this short for sale, eventually, as a $0.99 download. At the moment, it's far less than 5000 words and I think I'd like to add a bit to it before releasing it.
Happy reading, writing, and blogging!!

A new story! *happy dance* :)
It could use another beta read, if you're interested, Rachel. ;O)
